The Greenhouse, completed in 1995, provides a reliable, year-round environment for growing plants used in research and educational projects by faculty members and graduate, undergraduate and area high school students.

Other researchers from 有料盒子视频's Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station and Chemistry Department, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the U.S. Geological Survey have used the greenhouse. Visiting scientists from Cornell University and scientists from Sweden and Norway have also conducted research projects within the greenhouse.

It simulates summer conditions all year with computerized controls that manipulate air and soil temperatures and adjust lighting, window shades and humidity.
