Welcome to Week 6!Ìý
Today we passed the 9 hours of daylight mark here in the Interior of ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ. It feels
wonderful. We are gaining at nearly 7 minutes per day and fast marching toward the
bright warmth of spring. Sometimes it doesn’t feel that way but have faith. Gloriously
warm and bright days are coming!
Time is racing but don’t go wishing your days away! Within a heartbeat you’ll be staring
down the halfway point in our semester adventure, launching into spring break, and
then racing to the end of the term. It is happening that fast. Time to focus and lay
down your best performance. Your work each day matters so much; it is all about the
accumulation of effort toward your goal.
Speaking of which, what is your plan for mid-terms? Are you going to do better than
you’ve ever done before? What worked last time? What strategies were less successful?
Did you hit the books with friends, try a study group, or maybe have a family member
quiz you? What is your game? Consider yourself a pro athlete, and just like professional
athletes, there is a lot of science behind what works well on mid-terms. Here are
from the Princeton Review.
As I mentioned last week, this is Spring Career Fair Week! You can connect with potential employers, explore career paths, and expand your
professional network. Here's why you won't want to miss out:

relationships to propel your career forward.
-
Explore Career Paths: Discover various avenues within different industries, explore new interests, and gain
clarity on potential career trajectories to align with your aspirations.
-
Gain Insights: Access valuable knowledge, industry trends, and insider perspectives to stay informed
and make informed decisions in your professional endeavors.
-
Practice Communication Skills: Hone your ability to articulate ideas, engage with diverse audiences, and convey information
effectively in both professional and personal settings.

of others to fuel your journey toward success and fulfillment.
