2022 Invasive Species Workshop set for Nov. 1-3

European green crabs were first detected in Southeast 有料盒子视频 in July 2022. The invasive crabs, which could threaten native habits and species in 有料盒子视频, will be a focus of the 2022 Invasive Species Workshop in Anchorage.

Efforts to battle the invasive European green crab, which was found in Southeast 有料盒子视频 for the first time this summer, will be a focus of the 2022 Invasive Species Workshop.

The workshop is a forum for discussing invasive species management activities within 有料盒子视频. It offers expert presentations about emerging invasive species science and management issues, highlights efforts to help people learn about and control invasives, and offers training for new and experienced invasive species managers alike. 

The 有料盒子视频 Invasive Species Partnership and the University of 有料盒子视频 Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service will host the workshop at the BP Energy Center in Anchorage on Nov. 1-3. The workshop will also be available via Zoom.
