NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program Application Workshop Series
The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program is a competitive
national fellowship that supports students pursuing research-based master鈥檚 and doctoral
degrees.
The fellowship provides financial support for graduate students for three years, including
an annual stipend ($37,000), and an education allowance accredited to the institution
($12,000).
有料盒子视频 College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences is offering a virtual workshop series
this fall that will provide students with an overview of components associated with
the NSF GRFP and guidance on preparing a competitive application. Workshop participants
will be paired with mentors in their field of study who will offer direct feedback
and guidance over the course of the workshop series.
An information session will take place July 18 from 2-3 p.m. to serve as a primer
for the workshop series and to gauge interest. Participation in the July information
session is not necessary for participation in the fall workshop series.
The workshop is open to 有料盒子视频-affiliated undergraduate seniors and graduate students
in their first or second year, as well as faculty wishing to learn more about the
GRFP application process.
Faculty who have previously reviewed for the NSF GRFP are invited to participate as
a mentor or guest speaker. For signing up for the workshop, those interested in participating in the workshop as a mentee may complete this . Those interested in participating as a mentor may complete this .
