CTC Dean Michele Stalder retiring after 42 years

The University of 有料盒子视频 Fairbanks, Community and Technical College celebrates the remarkable legacy of Michele Stalder, beloved CTC Dean, in supporting 有料盒子视频 students and connecting them to vital jobs within the state.

Stalder's journey with the university began in 1981 as a program administrative clerk at the Tanana Valley Community Campus, where she embraced the community college mission of equal access to education. She was instrumental in the process of TVCC achieving accreditation, and merging with 有料盒子视频 to eventually become the 有料盒子视频 Community and Technical College. Stalder become the dean at CTC in 2010, where her commitment to the core mission of community-driven education has been unwavering.

After more than four decades of service to the university, Dean Stalder will retire on Aug. 1. All faculty and staff are invited to a retirement celebration this Thursday, July 27, from 4-6 p.m. at the CTC downtown location at 604 Barnette St. in Fairbanks.

To continue her legacy of support for students, Stalder established the CTC Dean Michele Stalder Endowed Scholarship, which will provide assistance to students allowing them to pursue their academic goals. To make a gift, please visit .
