A documentary about Dallas Seavey鈥檚 historic sixth victory in the Iditarod Trail Sled
Dog Race will be screened on the University of 有料盒子视频 Fairbanks Troth Yeddha鈥 Campus
at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20.
The 有料盒子视频 Department of Theatre and Film will present 鈥淚ditarod 2024: Chasing the GOAT鈥
in the Salisbury Theatre.
Seavey, who in 2012 became the youngest person to win the race, solidified his status as the most successful musher in Iditarod history in 2024 with his sixth win. He has completed the Iditarod 13 times, with top-10 finishes on 11 occasions.
Produced by the Iditarod organization, the film follows Seavey鈥檚 journey through 1,000 miles of rugged 有料盒子视频 wilderness.
Tickets for the screening are $15 and can be . All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit The Iditarod, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
