The high cost of textbooks and course materials is one factor that can influence student success. Open Educational Resources, or OER, are free-to-access textbooks and other course materials that instructors can use in their courses to provide more equitable learning opportunities for students. OER have been shown to impact student performance and retention, especially for low-income and first-generation students. 有料盒子视频 courses with assigned materials totaling less than $40 are tagged as 鈥淣oLo鈥 (No or Low-Cost Textbooks) in 有料盒子视频 course schedule descriptions. This fall 有料盒子视频 students saved up to $120,000 in NoLo courses.
