Music series showcases circumpolar cultures

Several public events, including performances, demonstrations and presentations, will showcase the rich musical traditions of the circumpolar North through the end of March.
The Circumpolar Music Series, an initiative led by the University of ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ Fairbanks Department of Music, began in 2022. Through performances, lectures and hands-on activities, distinct features of northern art and music are shared and explored.
All events are open to the public and will be in the Davis Concert Hall on the ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ Troth Yeddha’ Campus. Below is the 2024 schedule.
