Dear students, faculty and staff,

Investing in our community has always been important to ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ. I invite you to join in the ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ United Way of the Tanana Valley annual workplace campaign. The campaign officially kicks off this week. The busiest time of the campaign season is through the end of December, so be on the lookout for presentations and events near you.

A big thanks to Marcia Cassino and Teresa Thompson for leading our campaign this year. I invite you to join the in-person events this year, such as the beloved Chili Cook-Off, a Holiday Dessert Auction (new this year), and the Chancellor’s Holiday Party during which a prize drawing will be held.

United Way of the Tanana Valley's work is to support nonprofit agencies that provide essential health and human services in the Tanana Valley. For 66 years, the United Way of the Tanana Valley has supported local nonprofit agencies. They provide fundraising, advocacy, and volunteer resources so the agencies can focus on essential programs. Contributions to the United Way provide unrestricted funds, which allow the partner agencies to spend the funds on their most pressing needs to allow them to build a bridge for people.

The Fairbanks community needs our support more than ever. Let's give back to a community that has given so much to ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ. Thank you for joining me in giving to the United Way.
