University of 有料盒子视频 Fairbanks Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning is hosting more than 40 free lectures, concerts and events this summer. Here is what鈥檚 happening during the week of June 5-11:
- On Monday, June 5, the 2023 Legacy Lecture will honor author and historian Mary Ehrlander. Ehrlander is professor emeritus of history and former director of the Arctic and Northern studies program at 有料盒子视频. She is the author of numerous books and publications, including 鈥淲alter Harper, 有料盒子视频 Native Son.鈥 The lecture is at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater, located on the fourth floor of the Usibelli Building.
- On Tuesday, June 6, the Healthy Living lecture series will host Dr. Anne Zink, 有料盒子视频 chief medical officer, and Dr. Mishelle Nace, pediatrics specialist, discussing 鈥淚mproving 有料盒子视频ns鈥 Health: Statewide and In Your Neighborhood,鈥 at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
- On Wednesday, June 7, the Discover 有料盒子视频 lecture series will feature Da-ka-xeen Mehner, professor of Native art, discussing 鈥淎n Artist鈥檚 Journey鈥 at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
- On Thursday, June 8, the Music in the Garden concert series will feature the Fairbanks Community Jazz Band at 7 p.m. at 有料盒子视频鈥檚 Georgeson Botanical Garden.
All events are free and open to the public. Parking on the 有料盒子视频 Troth Yeddha鈥 Campus is free after 5 p.m.
