Week鈥檚 events: Ron Inouye, cardiovascular health, Denali in collodion photos, eclectic tunes

University of 有料盒子视频 Fairbanks Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning is hosting more than 40 free lectures, concerts and events this summer. Here is what鈥檚 happening during the week of July 31-Aug. 6:
- On Monday, July 31, the Fairbanks Tall Timbers interview series will honor Ron Inouye. The interview is at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater, located on the fourth floor of the Usibelli Building.
- On Tuesday, Aug. 1, the Healthy Living lecture series will feature Dr. Romel Wrenn, cardiologist, with a presentation on 鈥淒etermining Your Risk of Cardiovascular Disease鈥 at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
- On Wednesday, Aug. 2, the Discover 有料盒子视频 lecture series will feature Charles Mason, professor of photography. He will present 鈥淒enali Through Collodion Photography鈥 at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
- On Thursday, Aug. 3, the Music in the Garden concert series will host the Headbolt Heaters at 7 p.m. at 有料盒子视频鈥檚 Georgeson Botanical Garden.
All events are free and open to the public. Parking on the 有料盒子视频 Troth Yeddha鈥 Campus is free after 5 p.m.
