Week鈥檚 events: Wendell Schiffler, senior living choices, art talk, marimba music

University of 有料盒子视频 Fairbanks Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning is hosting more than 40 free lectures, concerts and events this summer. Here is what鈥檚 happening during the week of July 24-30:

  • On Monday, July 24, the Fairbanks Tall Timbers interview series will honor Wendell Schiffler. The interview is at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater, located on the fourth floor of the Usibelli Building.
  • On Tuesday, July 25, the Healthy Living lecture series will feature Vickie Wilson, former director of the Division of 有料盒子视频 Pioneer Homes. She will discuss 鈥淪enior Living Choices in Fairbanks as We Age鈥 at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
  • On Wednesday, July 26, the Discover 有料盒子视频 lecture series will feature Scott Holladay, adjunct instructor in sculpture, presenting 鈥淲hat is it About Art?鈥 at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
  • On Thursday, July 27, the Music in the Garden concert series will present the Serevende Marimba Ensemble at 7 p.m. at 有料盒子视频鈥檚 Georgeson Botanical Garden.

All events are free and open to the public. Parking on the 有料盒子视频 Troth Yeddha鈥 Campus is free after 5 p.m.
