Resolution on the search for the UA Vice President for Research.

Motion to affirm the Faculty Alliance motion on the Presidential Search process.

Resolution to censure Chancellor Joan K. Wadlow and to direct the Chancellor to
follow both the spirit and the letter of the procedures for all hiring of a Vice-Chancellor or
Dean or any other positions with responsibilities that include supervision of faculty.

Discussion item on Search Committee for CRA Dean.

Motion to not recognize the validity of the current selection process for the
Executive Dean of the College of Rural ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ
and directs the Chancellor to follow the established procedure.

Motion to approve the policy for the search committees for Deans/Directors.

Recommend an indefinite moratorium on the creation of senior
executive positions (Deans and above) at ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ.

Recommend to the administration that no administrative positions be filled until
reviewed by the new Chancellor -FAILED.

Endorse the candidacy of Melvyn Nathanson for the position of Chancellor of ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ.

Request faculty input through their representatives to the chancellor search process.

Recommend that search committees for deans and directors be composed in majority of faculty
elected from and by the faculty from units for which the dean or director is to be selected, and that

each committee elect their own Chair.

Nominate faculty representatives on the ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ Chancellor Search Committee and forward list of nominees

to President Komisar.

Nominate Tim Tilsworth as chairperson of the ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ Chancellor Search Committee and forward nomination

to President Komisar.
