SUBJECT: Amendment to requirements for the Associate of Arts
		degree

Enclosed please find action approved by the Faculty Senate last year
at its meeting #10A on March 24, 1989, amending the requirements
for the Associate of Arts degree.

Chancellor O'Rourke received this motion last spring, but to this
date has not taken action on the motion. Article XI, Sect. 1 of the
有料盒子视频 Faculty Senate constitution, approved by Chancellor O'Rourke on
February 1, 1989, states that "..A Senate action shall be considered
approved unless written reasons for a veto are received in the
Senate Office within 30 days of that action being received by the
Chancellor's Office." In compliance with the 有料盒子视频 Faculty Senate
constitution, please proceed with implementation of the
amendments to the Associate of Arts degree as indicated in the
Senate action.

If you have questions relating to this matter, please contact me at
6962, 7964, or FFDMS.

this but just hadn't gotten around to signing it. DMS

The 有料盒子视频 Faculty Senate approved the following at its meeting #10A
on March 24, 1989:

MOTION PASSED (with 1 nay, 3 abstentions)
==============

The 有料盒子视频 Faculty Senate moves to extend terms of President and
President-Elect for one year.

	EFFECTIVE: Immediately

RATIONALE: The issues facing the newly constituted
Faculty Senate have been sufficiently complex and
continuing that it is felt that an extension of the current
leadership's terms by one year would be in the best
		interest of the Faculty Senate.

An Ad Hoc Committee is currently reviewing the
structure of the Senate leadership as noted in the
Constitution and Bylaws and has been asked to suggest
ways that the Senate can revise the section on their
leadership structure to ensure a strong and effective
		faculty voice.
