About Us
At the ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ College of Indigenous Studies, we offer academic programs designed to serve ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ and build a new generation of leaders. Our programs build strong individuals and sustainable communities.
From conducting original research and writing about your experiences, engaging in community services initiatives, to helping draft policy and legislation, there’s no limit to hands-on learning at CIS.
The College of Indigenous Studies staff, faculty, and leadership are dedicated to supporting students throughout their education journey.
Our students come from all over ÓÐÁϺÐ×ÓÊÓƵ and the world — especially rural communities throughout the state. We learn from our students and their experiences every day. Hear from their experiences at CIS.
At CIS, we love to gather and celebrate. From Indigenous Peoples Day celebrations to the Festival of Native Arts, to symposiums to webinar series, there are always opportunities to learn as a community.
