Student Advisory Council
The Student Advisory Council is made up of active Student Support Services participants and alumni. To join the SAC, contact SSS advisor Vicky Avery at vlavery@uaf.edu.
What does SAC do?
We provide a number of auxiliary functions that include but are not limited to:
- Acting as a sounding board for SSS-related events and workshops.
- Fundraising for the SSS Discretionary Fund, which helps to fund SSS Breakfast and
Popcorn Wednesday, scholarships and more.
- Spearheading services opportunities in the community.
